Founded in 1982, TECNICHAPA is a subcontracting company specialized in light sheet-metal electromechanical precision assemblies. The successful results are based on a highly specialized know-how liable to design, material technology, production and logistics. Each part design shall comply thoroughly with customers' requirements and specifications.

Fully owned by the Ormazabal Group (Medium voltage solutions provider), TECNICHAPA is now a major supplier within European market. This leadership is supported by its shared knowledge among the organization, people that are highly skilled and trained on key process technologies.

The main applications for this market are distribution switchgears, control cabinets, transformer substation accessories, low voltage cabinets, and new appliances for solar and wind farm energy.

TECNICHAPA is qualified upon customers' standards, working on a Quality Contract basis, with direct deliveries to assembly line. Its Quality Management System is certified upon ISO 9001:2000 standard.
