TECNICHAPA PARTICIPATES TOGETHER WITH ITA IN THE MANUFACTURING OF GEMA SOLAR PLANT COMPONENTSTorresol Energy (Sener+Masdar) promotes the first solar plant in the world with central tower salt receiver technology. Sener will deliver turn key salt collector to the Plant. Manufacturing of high temperature salt collectors has been subcontracted to ITA which collaborates with TECNICHAPA in the research of the most convienient manufacturing solutions. Manufactured in non conventional alloys in order to overcome the demand of high temperature corrosive atmosphere due to salt heating, collectors have high water-tightness and precision requirements in order to grant a 30 years minimum life. With this new project, TECNICHAPA, Strengths its positioning as high level steel-works provider, delivering high added value solutions in strategic technologies and markets.
